Answer: Introduction The paper depicts organizational management and the role play of leading people, who are responsible for the organizational success (Business Insider 2016). The success criteria of an organization are always dependent on the behavioral aspects of the leaders. In this paper, the selected leader is Larry Page, a great entrepreneur and the co-founder of Google. The paper will demonstrate the leadership ethics, leadership evolution, the psychology of the leader and the multicultural nature of the leader from different research and analysis. Apart from this, lastly the paper will illustrate the leadership theories. Selection of the leader For this paper the selected leader is the co-founder of Google Inc. a great computer scientist and internet entrepreneur Larry Page. He is the chief executive officer of Alphabet Inc. which is the parent company of Google. Larry wants his employees to believe in critical thinking and crazy idea formation (Business Insider 2016). The out of box ideas help the organization to become one of the top most organization in the world. In order to develop an approachable change in the world of technology formation of creative ideas and implementation of those ideas are required (Chen et al. 2015). In order to make faster decisions Larry asked his employees to involve constant efficiency. Research and analysis of the leadership style Leadership ethics The leadership of Larry Page is directed with his norms and extreme belief in leadership ethics (Isaacson 2012). He always beliefs on the right and dignity of other employees working for his organization. The honesty and trustworthiness driven by Larry Page helps the organization to be one of the leading companies all over the world. Leadership evolution The leadership practice is changing rapidly over time. Transformational and transactional theories are the necessary perspectives considered to bring historical evolution in the decision making, effective communication and in direction setup for enterprises (Goetsch and Davis 2014). The leadership of Larry Page brought renaissance in the organization structure of Google. Leadership psychology While dealing with leadership psychology three traits such as are motivation, Fear and anxiety and uncertainty are considered for effective success of leadership. Larry Page beliefs on this factors and he took the required steps to develop the structure of his organization (Isaacson 2012). Additionally, he always motivates his employees that helped them to avoid organizational risks. Multicultural leadership This is referred to as multiple cultures possesses by one person. The chosen leader, Larry page developed multicultural leadership management within his organization (Terry 2015). Larry Page is known as multicultural leader because he has global level of thinking, cultural curiosity, self confident, knowledge, patience, inclusion and managing diversity. Theories of leadership From the organizational perspective 5 leadership theories are found (Goodall, McDowell and Singell 2014). From the overall analysis it has been found that, Larry Page possesses Great man theory, behavioural theory, trait theory, behavioural theory and contingency theory as well. These are as follows: Great man theory: Leadership theory defines the great or unique qualities that inherit by one person from his birth it means that one cannot gain uniqueness from the outside world or experience (Hamel and Breen 2013.). Larry page is a destined or inborn great person that is inspired by the study of influential hero. Though, Larry had to prove himself by implementing different emerging technologies but still, his talent is not manmade rather he is an inborn talented person. Behavioural theory: This is referred to as the reaction of the trait leadership theory. This theory offers new perspectives to the organization in terms of social, physiological and psychological characteristics of a person (Giacalone and Rosenfeld 2013). According to behavioural theory, leaders are made and not born. It has been defined that, Larry Page, is a great leader as he has creative mind and he always motivates his employees to think critically. The leaders has different name but the essence of the leaders are identical or similar for all. Contingency theory: This is referred to as the working environment of Google. The leadership style of the leaders and the employees of the organization are different based on the working situation (Goetsch and Davis 2014). The leadership style cannot be same for different leaders. This is termed as an extension of trait theory (Goodall et al. 2014). The leaders working for the Trait theory: This theory consists of certain unique characters rather traits that can differentiate one leader from a non leader (Landis, Hill and Harvey 2014). Technical, conceptual and human skills are analytical and predictive enough. Larry Page has these special characters that consider personality, social and physical traits to differentiate leaders from the non leaders (Business Insider 2016). Trait theory is an extension of great man theory which motivates all the employees working for the organization. Factors that come under consideration are achievement, job security, power over others and high financial reward. Situational theory: In order to define key situational factors three contingency dimensions such as leader member relation, task structure, are clearly identified. Task structure is the degree of job assignment that is procedure (Isaacson 2012). Not only this but also, the degree of influence and motivation within the workforce is also directly dependent on the behaviour of the larder. Conclusion From the overall discussion it has been concluded that for the growth of Google Larry tries to involve the best technologies to avoid the autocratic ways of leading. These are the major reasons which helped the organization to become the leading one. These success criteria of the person helped him to be one of the leading entrepreneurs. The leadership theories and leadership characters possesses by Larry Page are mentioned in this paper.
